ARIA(Australian Record Industry Association) 2003 Charts...

No.4        BORN TO TRY – Delta Goodrem

Born To Try was the single that started it all for Delta Goodrem. Debuting at #3 (18/11/02) and only peaking at #1 for one week (2/12/02), who would have guessed that this would see the beginning of one of the greatest local successes the Australian music industry has seen. Born To Try spent fifteen weeks in the top 10 and was the first of five #1 singles that would be released from the biggest selling album of 2003 – Innocent Eyes.

No.7        LOST WITHOUT YOU – Delta Goodrem

Making her second appearance in the End Of Year singles top 10 comes Delta and her second #1 single Lost Without You. This was the only one of five #1 singles to debut at #1(10/03/03), spending only two weeks at that peak but ten weeks in the top 5.  Delta’s three other singles released during 2003 also landed in the ARIA End Of 2003 top 20.

No.1        INNOCENT EYES – Delta Goodrem
It’s no surprise that Australia’s new favourite pop princess Delta Goodrem has the top selling album of 2003. Delta took home 7 ARIA Awards including the coveted Best female Artist, and highest selling album awards as well as multiple ARIA #1 Awards.  Innocent Eyes is now 13x Platinum, and features an unprecedented 5 #1 singles!  After debuting at #1 at the end of March, Innocent Eyes has been #1on the ARIAnet albums chart for 27 of its 40 chart weeks to date and is currently still in the top 5!
28 weeks at #1 equals the record set by Mr Diamond's Hot August Night 8)

The only ARIA record left; Dire Strait's Brothers In Arms (34 weeks @#1) :o

do you like it - or is it too girly... ryan doesn't use his matrix one very much .... totes are a little girly -- but i think you could toss a notebook and pencils, etc in it maybe even a laptop or camera -- so i don't think it's too girly.... whatever ....  i tried!!!
