I heard this band on The OC so I downloaded their song that was featured in the episode- Portions for Foxes and I quite liked it.
Then I checked out their album- More Adventurous and liked them even more  :)

Their website http://www.rilokiley.com/ is full of videos, info on the band, photos and when you click on it you can hear their songs. I think this is one of the best sites ive ever seen, its really unique in the way the graphics do what they do.

Don't base anything on the OC. Rilo Kiley is so fucking good . . . "Science vs. Romance" is my favorite. If you like them, then listen to The Postal Service; the lead singer of Rilo Kiley, Jenny Lewis, isn't the FIRST backup singer in The Postal Service (ie, she's not the girl in "Nothing Better"), but she is with them. They're tight.

"My Slumbering Heart" = two thumbs up :) OH! And "Does He Love You?"

Rilo Kiley's great! "Portions" is one of my favorite songs by them. Jenny Lewis has a great voice, very unique.
Why don't you come on over? Stop making a fool out of me.

I just bought Under the Blacklight (it was released in August '07) and its pretty good so far. I really want to get the 2005 album, just need some more feedback on the band.

I obviously love Rilo Kiley. But I'm not loving their latest with Under the Blacklight saddly. I like Silver Lining... and that's about it. :?
And it's bad news, baby it's bad news
It's just bad news, bad news, bad news
'Cause you're just damage control
For a walking corpse like me - like you,
'Cause we'll all be portions for foxes
Yeah, we'll all be portions for foxes.

Yeah, Silver Lining is the only one that I really like on the album. Dejalo is just beyond me! Can't stand that one.

How's the last album?

Rilo Kiley makes me so happy beyond belief. I'd so go lesbian for Jenny Lewis. I love "Under the Blacklight," it's everything dance-rock should be. But my all-time favorite song of theirs is "Paints Peeling." Oh my God. So good.

I just saw them a month or so ago, and they were fan-tastic.

And scab and heal and bleed again
And turn every scar into a joke
We are made to fight
And f**k and talk and fight again
And sit around
And laugh until we choke"
