I finished it quite a while ago, very good book but I was disappointed with the ending :(
I've also read Digital Fortress by Dan Brown and I find it muuuch better! :)

Movie news:  Tom Hanks is the front runner for the part of Robert Langdon.  Ron Howard is still directing, but that's all they know.  I don't like Hanks as Langdon, I would rather have someone like Sean Penn.  And Jennifer Garner would make a very good Sophie!

Crow was one of a few choices, but it seems like Hanks is going to get the part...only time will tell

no, no, i was speculating.  If we were to HAVE to go with a french actress I would say either Juliette Binoche or the girl from Emilie.

Read Angels & Demons, which is the book before The DaVinci Code.  It's even better, in my opinion!

I just finished reading the Da Vinci Code yesterday (Christmas Day).  It was really a great read. Very fast paced and easy to read.  It surpassed the hype in my opinion.  My mom finished Angels & Demons yesterday, so I'll probably start reading that one after I read some other books I have qeued up.

My mom picked up a copy of the US News & World Report SE mag about the novel.  I haven't looked at it yet.

i finished it a few days ago, i absolutely LOVED it.

i actually bought it over the summer to read on my way to europe, but i never finished it (got to like chapter 15 or so..) and i kinda wish i would have because i went to most of the places mentioned in the book and it would have been really cool, but oh well. better late than never, while reading it i was like GASP.. I want to be a pagan! heheh

and i was raised catholic, and have rebelled from all things catholic several years ago and so this book made me happy, even if every single thing isnt a proven fact, i still enjoyed it very much. i think its crazy that the chruch is getting so upset over the book.. there are worse things in the world. maybe they ARE hiding something ... hehhehee
