i like how you did the text, i think it would look better if you put the text more in the middle of the black strip :)

I think I saw it there ;)

I like it, these whole stripes things are the big thing in text (;I think heavenli started it) hehe, we see all around... anyways, the colors look cool,me likey!

cool 8) , I know what u mean by taking a long time...., I made a Rita Hayworth colo the other day, just for fun and ohh those black and white/technicolor movies stars are not easy to colorize :P

That's gorgeous though. How do you make it look so soft around the edges?
I've been into coloring the old-time pictures, though, too. I did Clara Bow the other day, and Lana Turner, too.

Here's a nice litle trick I use when I make colos (Do all this *before* adding text*:

1) You have your colorized image. All the coloring is done.  Go to Layers>Flatten image. Then duplicate the layer (you should only have one left).

2) On the duplicated layer, go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and set the ratio to 2.3  

3) Then change the opacity of the duplicated layer to 50%, then flatten the image again.

4) Duplicate the layer (there should be only one left since u flattened it), and set the blending mode of the duplicated layer to "overlay" or "soft light".  This makes it look a bit more bold.
