Why would I mess with an original picture in Photoshop and then try and pass it off as my own work? I don't gain anything from it, I'd only be cheating myself.
I tried to draw the picture by my own hand, and then I coloured it in photoshop because the colouring pencils/pens I have wouldn't do it justice. That's it, nothing more, nothing less. Think what you like, I know the truth.

Ok, I'm sorry, maybe I did go off the deep end a bit, I have no desire to get into any sort of confrontation about this.
I'd welcome constructive criticism, but what Scott said was in my opinion, in no way constructive.
I worked on this thing for a long time, several months, not constantly of course, on and off, but still I put a lot of hours into this to make it look as close to the original as I could, particularly in the painting bit and well, I guess I'm proud of it. I don't know, maybe I'm giving myself more credit than I deserve here. Anyway I'll stop rambling now.
