Is it possible to send an mp3 in an e-mail?

Yes.

You wil need to use the file attachment feature of your email program. Every program is different, so it's impossible to be more specific without knowing what you normally use to send emails. Look for something along the lines of "attach file" or "file attachment".

Note: If it's hotmail or a similar web based email account then they will probably have a size limit on what you can send. I think hotmail limits to 1 Meg which is much smaller than a typical mp3 file, so you will not be able to send an mp3 file with this type of email system.

if you sign up for an account with www.mailcity.com it allows you up to 5 megs and a lot of songs are under that =)

yeah, i know what you're talking about. i use a yahoo account and it has an "attach file". i also have aol but i usually use yahoo. but see i clicked on the "attach a file" and i clicked on "browse" and went to my music section on my desktop to get to my Itunes, but it wouldn't open up my Itunes library (which is where all my songs are). so, i guess that's where i'm stuck

i don't know if this will work since i don't have itunes, but sometimes if something won't open under one file, you can try sending it to another folder and opening it up there...
