We've done favorite classes, but I don't think we've done a favorite electives thread.

So what is your favorite elective? or was your favorite elective? You can pick more than 1 (just don't name like a million, lol)

If I am forgetting something just pick other & say what it is.

Mine are Drama & Choir of course. I'm really weird. One minute I totally hate Drama, & the next I totally love it (like today for example haha). Drama can stress you out, but you can get something out of it most of the time. And Choir is awesome. We're going to knotts berry farm & are going to be in a Choir competition on May 8th so that's gonna rock. Choir is really fun!

Newspaper/Journalism
My last 2 years of high school I lived and breathed it. And my senior year I was the Editor. :)

Whats an 'elective'? Is it like an activity you have to do, in your spare time at school?

an elective is not a required course in school - so say you had free time inbetween your required courses - you could choose an extra course. They're usually fun ones - like in my school there's yearbook journalism, sociology and psychology, historical films, criminal justice...etc.

This year I'm taking my only elective ever . . .it's Drama; I pretty much hate it.  I COULD take one senior year but I'm taking 2 AP Scinces instead, or maybe 1 AP Sceince and more Latin (providing all goes well junior year), I'm not sure but yeah, so I guess I can't answer

You hate Drama? lol dang. I can probably see why tho. Well I don't know what the Drama program is like at your school, but mine is like crazy. Everyone loves & hates it, it's weird. But for the most part it's fun.

why don't you like it?

How do you guys take so many?!  DO you take real classes?!

Drama is too revealing for me, I don't even like handing in tests because I feel like I've opened my brain and thoughts up too much to the teacher.  If I am not 100% sure I got 100% on the test I won't look the teacher in the eyes for a week.  I don't have stage fright, I just don't like drawing from personal stuff on stage.  I love public speaking so go figure.

I take a math, science, social studies, and an English class.  That leaves me with 4 electives per year until I am a senior.  Senior year I only have to take a math and an English, and I can take another science or social studies.  Senior year I can also choose to go home or take another elective to fill in the science and social studies gap.

Electives also contain boring shit like Career Mng. and teen living.  My electives suck too because they require an exam...
