yes! flip flops are awesome! sooo comfortable! I have a black pair and a white pair i switch off between. And an orange pair with a bit of a heel.

as you can see... i love these trends, haha
and i get more compliments on these than anything else. like my vice principle was in love with the flower necklace today, haha.

Flip flops are called thongs over here in Australia and thongs (under wear) are called G-Strings.
LOL

they can be called either flip flops or thongs here, lol. but thongs gets them confused with underwear, so i prefer the other.
usually you can say "I'm wearing a thong" or "I'm wearing thongs" and tell the difference. but the other day I went to this show and the lead singer of the band said "i'm wearing pink thongs". I looked at her feet and saw she was wearing black shoes, then i was like "wrong grammer and too much information!"

Hahahaha, yeh thongs were big here before anywhere else I think.
So were sheepskin boots (we call them ugg boots) until sorry to say this but American producers got their hands on them and now Australian companies are sueing some American distributer because they took the name but our silly Australian's didnt trademark it so we lost.
The funny thing is, now its Winter over here and we used to just wear the boots as slippers, now ppl are wearing them out every where so we ended up stealing your idea.
Sorry to blabber on hehe.
Hope your well holly

i hope you're well too Katie!!! I miss you!!
haha, yep, americans stole the austrailian idea... people went crazy for them here! they were sold out everywhere! and i think they should have been left as slippers, cause they're comfortable but thats it, haha.

there are these new flip flops that i see everywhere now... they're brown with a whiteish stripe on the side and have a rainbow on the tag. Does anyone know what i'm talking about? what's up with that? they're as popular as uggs now!

I owned a pair of Ugg boots when i was a kid. I think i might stick to shoes this winter because i wouldnt want to ruin the outside of the boots.
Its to puddley over here lol.

Hey holls i miss you aswell. I wish these computers had aim or msn then we could talk.

Love
*Well i am loving the cowboy boot trend going down here, hehe. I had a pair before everyone else in my college but no loads of people are starting to wear them. They look good with EVERYTHING- because they can just look like cute pointy shoes under jeans.

* I am also trying to bring back Shrugs- lol. I think they're so cool! They're like cardigans but much better. I found a few at charity shops lately and they're so useful! Like with cardigans you can cover up too much of the top underneath- but shrugs keep you warm and show off the top underneath!

* Also, ever since i met Nerea i have been in HUGE earrings like her- and now all the stars are wearing them (*ahem* beyonce and Nicole Kidman). Its really cool! I love spanish earrings *dies*.

Hate
*I am HATING the parker jackets that have come back in fashion here. I am HATING really low rise jeans with thongs underneath *shudders at the thought*. I am HATING those horrid belts from New Look with holes all the way round in horrid flourescent colours. *shudders again* I am also sick to death of slouch boots with a miniskirt- soooo over that one!

I'm sure i'll think of more later. lol

there's a copule of hip hop trends out there:

there's the bucket hat trend that everybody does. you know, those big ass hats w/ basketball/baseball/football teams on them?

Also, Button-up shirts are startin' to become a trend since Jay-z started wearing them.

hm, also jeans and shirts with NBA patches on them are startin' to become big. if your willin' to pay about 70-80 bucks for them lol

my hair today!

my newest additions to my collection that i got today:

and yes... i have a new obsessesion with flowers/butterflies. I just think they're so cute and very useful. My fave thing to do is put them in my hair, cause they make a messy/boring hair style look nicer, plus you can put them on shirts too! And when I'm not using them they make nice decorations i put around my room. I've loved flowers since i was little. One of my first words was "flowie" haha.
