finally.. a topic

i'm Joshua, i'm 23 and i'm from Singapore. Originally born and raised in Belgium and England.

I first heard Vanessa in August 2002 during (of all things) training for a 21km half marathon. Well, ATM was a very popular song here and it was the top 8th song of 2002 according to one radio station. But, it was Ordinary Day in October 2002 that made me into a real fan and after that point i never looked bacK!

Vanessa Carlton still gets quite a good amount of airplay on our local radio stations and I look forward to her second album!

I haven't yet had the chance to see her perform live but i'm wishing and hoping to catch a performance next year in Europe!

Ok enough for now. This board is cool but intimidating.  8O

Well hello there! I just did a 15k last week. I have done 1 marathon and 1 half marathon. I am thinking about another 1/2 marathon in Sept.

Not sure if you have done one before but good luck, I know how much hard work and dedication it takes.

I just read that again, did your 1/2 marathon pass? I am sure it did. How did you do?

well yeah it passed LOL...  i couldnt run beyond 14km i think then slow jog/walk after that. i took 3 hours i think (!!)..

i dont think i will be running again this year, cos im still recovering from a heel fracture sustained just before christmas (!!) ... hehe

well I am sorry about that. I know all about injuries. I had to take 3 months off before. It is so hard to go from running 12 miles like it is nothing to barely being able to run 2. I have gone from that to zero a few times, you would think I would learn but NOOOO. Haha.

Thanks, I still need to decided if I wanna do it. It's the Rock and Roll half marathon in Virgina Beach. We shall see.
