Official White Houses Release Date Information

I thought Harmonium was supposed to come out on July 13th and still the single isn't even out...what's going on?

White Houses is or was supposed to come out on July 13. The release date of Harmonium is September 28.

i sent an e-mail to the Music Director at y98 FM in st. louis. they play Vanessa a lot.
i asked Jen (music director) if they had heard anything about white houses. i mentioned in the e-mail that people were thinking it might come out July 13th.  
this is Jen's response:

It seems like you know more than I do.  I will say this - if her single was going for adds on radio on the 13th, I'd have it by now, and I don't.  If the single is shipping the 13th, then I'll have it next week.  Check back next Thursday or Friday and I'll let you know if I got it.

I agree. But I just got a response from a generic hit-music station in my area that I e-mailed; I asked:

"Do you have any information as to when Vanessa Carlton's new song "White Houses" will begin playing on the radio?"

And they replied, "Sorry, don't have any information on that."

Record labels push CD's back all the time just because, thus, singles get pushed back too. I've had very bad experiences especially with rap CD's getting pushed back, so I'm biased as it is towards not believing that something is out until I hear it, lol.
