you forget it doesnt mean stephen wrote the lyrics - he could of just helped write the orchestrian.... he helped make it a song... so quit bitchin

yay! Jen Meyers played it on my radio station tonight and she goes "this is y98's music preview. this is a special one tonight. i'm playing this for Amanda who has been e-mailing me the past couple months about when Vanessa's new single is out. the album comes out Oct. 19 and the new single is called White Houses co-writen by her b/f who is about 30 years older than her... but anyways Vanessa even puts on her ballet shoes for the video and starts dancing! Give me a call and tell me what you think, this is Vanessa Carlton's White Houses"

so they played it and it sounded awesome

so i called right away and got through and i talked to Jen and she asked me if i had seen the video yet and i told her i had seen clips of it but not the whole thing and then she's said she was sorry she couldn't play it sooner but i told her she was only a day later than when it was released so yeah. it was pretty cool. lol

exactly. because vanessa is a lyricist, i doubt he helped with anything except the occasional rhyming word.
besides, ron fair helped with the arrangements of like every song on BNN, so she didn't throw everything together herself there, either.

Do you have friends well-connected to Sony Records?  I've been looking for the Swedish radio promo CD for Mandy Moore's "Crush"--it has an uber rare radio club mix on it...which i must have...muahahahaha.

anyways, even if stephan did help her write the lyrics, he's an amazing lyricist himself, so i think them writing together would make for some awesome lyrics.
