Me and my brother watched this film last night.

If you've "Seven" (Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman) then it's just like that. Only more disturbing. There's not a lot of shock value gore but, by leaving most of it to the imagination, they succeeded in making it much worse.

It's not a film that you watch for enjoyment but rather out of curiousity, to test your mind's ability to wishstand the disturbing. It's not a film that you'll be glad you saw (no pun intended) when it's over. The ending is good though.

P.S. Right after we finished watching it, my brother went to get a drink and I hid behind the living room door with a big serrated bread knife. When I leaped out he screamed like a girl and fell over backwards. Hehe. I nearly died from laughter (and the subsequent beating I (rightfully) recieved). Hilarious.

I just got home from seeing SAW

choppy choppy

but not that scary. didnt have much to make you jump, it was more about tention and suspense.

They took a lot from the Se7en handbook in making the film.

I couldn't enjoy it much due to the crowd laughing at the acting at times. It had it's moments but mostly it sucked.

Yeah, I agree. I saw this movie when it first came out (no pun intended) and it really creeped me out. My friend was so freaked that she had nail marks in her wrist from holding it too tight!

The first one disturbed me to my bitter soul.  I watched it for the second time this week and I became even MORE afraid of the dark!!   8O
