Varitek was IN THE FUCKING BASEPATH!

No. And what kind of idiot starts a fight with THE CATCHER?! The catcher is padded up with all the chest pad, the mask, etc if he'd have gone after the pitcher since the pitcher did throw the ball that hit him, he could have possibly hurt his arm and then he'd be out for a couple games...It would have been smart!

Yeah.

Are you tellimg me he WASN'T in the basepath?  'Cause either you're on funny drugs or are trying to argue something you DIDN'T SEE.  Alex in no way started the FIGHT.  Only a very few people know what was said before Alex's "FUCK YOU" but he stayed where he was supposed to be (you guessed it) IN THE BASEPATH!  HE was taking his base, like a good little boy and Varitek jumped in the way.  When a cather is on defence he has a place to stand and that is NOT in the line of someone who just was hit by a pitch and moving to first.  NO ONE had any reason to get in Alex's way.  NO ONE.

I believe I brought up the fighting with the catcher thing.  Let's see -- umm oh yes.

It was Varitek's fault.  Where can you hit a catcher anyway? Alex was IN THE BASEPATH!!

In case I didn't make it clear my point there was; the catcher, as you pointed out, is covered in gear.  NOT the type of thing you'd want to hit (not that a baseball player can throw a punch anyway    - another story) The point you tried to prove doesn't apply here because Rodriguez didn't start any fight.  Need I remind you where he was?  No, the Red Sox are too cowardly to have anybody BUT the cather attack - ATTACK! - a player they just hit and was taking his base!

I beg to differ; baseball is smashing when you play it correctly. However, I'm not a feminist, and I see no reason why I should play baseball . . . so I don't. How often do guys complain about not being included in OFFICIAL softball leagues? Never. Granted, they are involved in old men, beer drinking softball a lot, but we'll call that . . . self-employment. If women want a baseball league, go right ahead and start one, sweethearts.

People piss me off.

Therefore, baseball equals the greatness over softball. Softball is neither more fun nor more fun to watch than baseball.

*sighs*

That's so random. I don't want to play baseball...I can't hit the ball. It's too small. Softball is more fun to play, for me,because I can hit the big ass ball.  AND womans softball is different than mens softball...did you know?

People piss me off when all they seem to be is hot air.

Did you read any of that?

If so . . . I'm pretty sure it's more relevant than random to your previous statement.

But who knows.

And hot air? . . . what the hell?
