Longhorn sucks, even for a developers preview. That new sidebar is more annoying than the "improved" default start menu in XP.

In the mean time, KDE is getting pretty darned good and it's wayyyy cheaper than XP...

ive never had a single XP crash on one of my personal machines, and i enjoy the interface. (i cant say the same for other users but if you understand the way computers work it runs very well), but yes longhorn looks to be like a piece of microsoft spyware.

You're blessed with hardware with good drivers. Some of us on more ghetto budgets don't have that luxury.... :wink:
