and the traffic getting out it really bad. etc.

I hope everything comes out ok.  I'm so glad, sometimes, that I live in Reno because I'll never see a hurricane here.  One because it is so far north, and two it would have to make it over the Sierra Mountain Range.

(Not to mention being on the west coast and on the other side of California)  I'm even more safe than tricia from most things.

Today's first joke was sent in by ghep, who translated it from the original Italian!

God summoned Castro, Chirac and Bush before him. He told them that they were ruining his precious Earth with all their pollutants, industrial fishing, logging etc. He told them to clean up their act or he would make the whole mankind shovel shit from one hole to another for eternity. Go! tell your people.
So Castro goes back to his people and tells them "I have 2 things to tell you, both of them bad. One, God exists and Two, if we don't clean up the planet we will have to shovel shit from one hole to another for eternity."
Chirac goes back to his people and tells them "I have 2 things to tell you, one good and one bad. One, God exists and Two, if we don't clean up the planet mankind will have to shovel shit from one hole to another for eternity."
Bush goes back to his people and tells them "I have 2 things to tell you, both of them good. One, God exists and Two, There'll soon be work for everyone!"

Holy shit. I'm so freaked out! Both of my family's houses are RIGHT on the water. And we live in Stuart, FL- which is *thinks* about 40 miles north of West Palm. So, basically, we're a direct target 8O  Only about three of my friends haven't evacuated either, and they're not allowed to go online, so I'm going to die alone... before I get to hear Harmonium! :cry:
