Her new album "Fijacion Oral Vol.1" is awesome specially the new single "La Tortura". I like the reggaeton mix better cus of course, reggaeton is from Puerto Rico and its just better. "Oral Fixation Vol.2 " will be out on Nov 2005. Its a double album, the first volume is in spanish and the second is in english.

it's more like "eyes like yours" lol

asi is more or less used for comparing to the eyes of the man she's describing.


"Ojos asi" means "Eyes like those" or "Eyes like yours"

Spanish is really easy!

I like Shakira-I was considering on buying her album, I thought it would be interesting, I am learning Spanish right now, and I live like 40 mins from the Mexican border, so it seems only natural to learn the language, I've stayed a few weeks in Mexico too.....the kids there said they like Shakira!!  Oh and I forgot to mention this but they recognized Vanessa's song ATM down there!!!  EXCIUTING! :wink:

I love her new song "Don't Bother". It's going to be HUGE. She has some pipes! She hits E over High C in full voice, for you music peeps out there.

Hips Don't Lie is going to be on a new edition of Oral Fixation. If you already have the album, you can download the song for free from www.shakira.com

I don't really like the song, coz it's not very deep, but it's good to dance to, I must admit.

I love Shakira. Especially her Spanish songs, becuase her voice suits her native tongue better. Her voice is amazing though. So original and unique. Amazing. She is also a very smart and very deep person. I have great respect for her.
