This genre is mainly for geeks and nerds NOT!

I love classical music my fav composers are Beethoven, Chopin, Rachamaninoff and Erik Satie.

My fav classical songs are moonlight sonata (all three movements) Chopins Reveloutionaty Etude and Gymnopedies and Gnossiennes. :D

I love classical..

I play viola.. and the piece I'm currently playing I absoluteeely love, Casadesus' Viola Concerto in B minor.

I love Brahms' Viola Sonatas..

and anything Tchaikovsky.

Smetana- The Moldau... is sooo beautiful.

i like some Tchaikovsky i have the 1812 overture as a ringtone on my phone and its polyphonic :lol: i like the nutcracker suite and swan lake.

:razz: So glad you posted this one.

I personally find that classical CD's are some of the only ones I can listen to the whole way through.  For sure, there are some classical artists I particularly don't care fore usually (Debussy....but fun to play).  Beethoven is by far my favorite to both play and listen to.  I'm just finishing up my practicing of Beethoven's Third Mvmnt. of the moonlight sonata.  It's my favorite so far, after like 9 years of playing.  My favorite classical CD is the Horowitz in Moscow.

So there you go.

My favorite piece of "modern" Classical music is Barber's Adagio for Strings (orchestra version)...It is sooo emotionally stirring..

My best friend introduced me to classical music when we were in high school. Classical rocks.
