I'm not suprised.

Go Evanescence!

And I agree with you, Keith.

Even if Harmonium was eligible this year, I don't think it is deserving of a Grammy. Although, it is certainly more deserving than most of the nominations....

I don't know how Gwen Stefani is eligible since her album was released AFTER Harmonium  :?

The single hit radio in August. Therefore it is eligible.

EDIT: Fuck, has it been out that long?

I totally agree, as much as I think Harmonium was really weak, it was way better than Usher's album.

Indeed. :)

I think that Harmonium is indeed a stronger album than BNN, though, so I think it's deserving of at least as many Grammys. However, I think it may be for the best that it missed the cut off; if the second and third singles are more popular, it should have a better shot then.

Well well....

I think that what happened to BNN was the speed that it got famous, not just the quality, but i presume that popularity counts a lot for the grammy!

Unfortunately Harmonium isn't doing the same success (at least not in Brazil), but the quality is incridible....I speak not just as fan but as piano player too, the songs got complex and beautifully arranjed.

Is such sad Harmonium not beeing nominated, but well....honestly, I don't think Grammy really goes for the best....
...just trying to get by...

Doh... poor V.  But as long as she's okeay with it, I'll be okeay with it.  She still deserves it though... out of all those people on that list, I think she deserves it the most.  Maybe the next CD then?

We should all just blame CBS and their unproffessional critics               lol

Someone needs to be blaimed

I still can't shake off the terrible memory of Norah stealing all Vanessas grammys. Burn in Hell CBS!

Kanye West is so horrible. I'm almost happy that she's not nominated for an award that tooks such a silly artist 10 times on their nomineelists. But mayve next year or next album. I think the third one will run better cos i hope that they know how destroyable pushing back an anlbum 5000 times is.

BNN was better than Harmonium by a long shot. I don't see how anyone would be shocked that it didn't get nominated. :|

i was quite sure she would get a song of the year nod for WHITE HOUSES.
I dont think she will ever win awards for vocal performances. Her most favorable awards r song of year, record of year and pop album of the year.hope she gets on atleast next year
