Honestly, I didn't see THAT performance.  I just don't really like him in general.  HOWEVER, I think America totally disagrees with me and he'll be up there in the ranks.

surprised that Bo was in the bottom three....extremely surprised that Anthony is still around (what the hell do people see in this guy...he can't sing), after last nights performance, i'm not too surprised that Nadia was voted off.

Agreed. I like both him & Bo. Him, Bo, & Carrie I think are gonna be in the top 3.

And I used to love Anthony, but lately he hasn't done good at all. I cringe everytime Scott performs & I do NOT like Anwar. There's just something about him I dislike, & I have no idea why Paula loves him so much. I feel like I'm being a critic here, haha.

I have 2 scenarios for the finals:
- Carrie vs Anwar
or
- Carrie vs Vonzell

Scott and Anthony suck (they're getting worse in my opinion and I don't know what people see in them and how the hell they made it so far in the competition!), Bo and Constantine are just okay to me now.
I was sooooo wow when Carrie (:heart:, teehee) performed Love Is A Battlefield, I love this song and her rendition was great! (a littlllle pitchy at times but I guess it's because she was kinda sick)

how do you screw up the lyrics to love is a battlefield?  I was like o_0  why is it different??

carrie has the 'look' of a star which is getting her a lot of votes but i think she needs to leave vocal arrangements to either the original creator of the song or someone else because what she "changed" in love is a battlefield i was not a big fan of.

however i just listened to her cover of alone and was very impressed.  i agree with simon -- she could easily win and sell more records than kelly.

It's a singing competition watched by about 30 million American's every week. Almost everyone on the show is a complete no-name.

As a huge Kelly fan, I can't imagine why Simon would think Carrie was better--or more appealing.  I think Carrie's voice is great, but Kelly's...WOW.  It's special.

as talented as kelly is, her album sales are not 'incredible'... Thankful sold what -- 2 million in the US?  That isn't an overly impressive number.  What was Simon's point (and i tend to agree with him) is given the right promotion and song selection Carrie could sell *more* albums then Kelly.  There is a very big difference between how an artist like Kelly is promoted vs JLo/Britney.  The JLo/Britney songs are catchier, they take all the right strategic movements at the appropriate times and i think Carrie's face and attitude may put her a smidge above Kelly.

Also, because you're a huge kelly fan, don't you think that maybe it is hard for you to be a bit objective? :)
