Formerly of Evanescence fame, Ben Moody is finishing up work on a solo album which has no confirmed release date as of yet, but we can all rest assured that it will be teh bomb diggity of metal leetness.

In his time since leaving Ev he has done some production with several artists including Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne.

Ben's most current venture is reording a song and music video called "Everything Burns," which is a duet featuring Anastacia. The song will be on the Fantastic Four soundtrack sponsored by Wind-up Records. The soundtrack is due to be released in the Summer of 2005. he writes good pop songs. Amy said she doesnt like songs in Ben's pop formula... which is why the new album is gonna be some scary never ending Tori Amos rock opera.

Very soon The Brothers Icarus will dominate the music scene! Seperately for now... I cant wait till they combine efforts for their own project one day down the road. "Only Human Only God" would have been amazing.

Not a fan of Terry I see. I think Terry will do a good job with Ev.

Someone had to leave. There was too much conflict. Would you rather Amy left instead? She could have been the one to leave, go solo and it would have been the end of Evanescence. Instead Ben left so Evanescence could stay together and now he shall bring forth the pop metal. :twisted:

Man, I'm not a poser, I'm not only fan of Amy Lee, I'm fan of Terry, Rocky, Will and John... and I think it's better Ben away from Evanescence, but he couldn't leave the band in that moment, he could wait and so leave it. Secondly, he did follow Avril Putine, and there's no pardon again

That's a cool video! Anastasia has a great voice! I've never heard her sing.

The song is really good. I'm guessing that Ben wrote it?

So in March Ben will be releasing his new solo album.
In the mean time he released a 4 song EP, free for all to hear.
