well, boycotting her music goes deeper than the fact that she posed nude for a magazine, so i really think you need to get all of the facts [straight] b/f you pass judgement. besides, there's more to life [and a person] than talent, b/c i know people who got a lot of talent who either waste it, or have the wrong attitude. besides, if i'ma like [or love] a person, it's gonna be b/c of who they are and their character, not b/c they're talented.
i don't have the sexiest body in the world, but i'm proud of how God made me, b/c i know no one else has a body like mine. i have imperfections, but i accept them, b/c a lot of them have fallen by the wayside, anyway, and don't determine my value as a person. everyone would be much happier if they had the same attitude.
moreover, Beyonce [Kelly and Michelle] are naked in their new video 'Cater 2 U', but i'm not gonna boycott their music. you're probably wondering what's the difference. well, i can't exactly put it into words for you, but i guess it's b/c i favor them more and Vanessa happens to be Anti-Bush, and that ain't cool to me. plus, i'm more likely to look down on females when they do that than males, even though i'm a female myself [before anyone calls me a chauvanistic pig]. i don't know why, but that's just my tendency. it's just who i am.
if you think it's okay that Van do that, then that's you, but i don't feel the same way you do, so you really don't have to give me the breeze, b/c i disagree with how a lot of others feel up here. if i lose interest in her, then you'll have to respect that. you ask that i respect Van's desicion [and your oppinion] to pose on the cover of magazine, even though we won't agree, have you? so don't contradict yourself. i'm not just talking to you, but to anyone who's reading this. besides, despite her so-called 'wholesome' image, which was a load of bunk to start with, Vanessa has never struck me as a person of high morals.
last time i checked, if you don't want to look up to a celeb, [which is unhealthy at times] you don't have to, b/c a lot of those overpaid people have diva-ish attitudes as well as no morals, so I could careless about most of them. and i believe if you REALLY knew them, you wouldn't like them anymore. moreover, if you admire them, all you're gonna see is their career success and not their success in their personal lives [which they work so hard to keep from the public].
and i didn't say that Britney could sing. i said XTINA could. Van tends to sound really pitchy sometimes when she's performing. she doesn't even use her vibrato, except in 'C'est la Vie'.
