Nerea wasn't being offensive, she means, "they actually play NESSA there?" because I think they give almost little air play in Spain.

There are plenty of cd's it all depends on the demand of the song, a year ago it was in hot demand and a lot of stores had it but once again a lot of places were sold out of it. I've found the best place to get singles is EBAY, you save time and money, and it's easy!

Anti-Nessa is correct

Record companies pay people to make sure that their artists' records are in stock, particularly along the tour itinerary(I used to know someone who did it).  Sounds like A&M/Universal isn't doing their job.  John Mellencamp actually left Mercury/PolyGram over that issue, among others.  Sadly, A&M may feel that BNN is done with.  Even if that's the case., it's a shame not to keep her name out there, especially if she will release a new CD this year.
We all know, though, that logic has no place anywhere in the entertainment business.

In France i only discovered Nessa when A thousand miles went on air on every french radios
but now they are still rarely playing a thousnad miles
It's like if it was her only song !!
Perhaps Nessa's promoters can't swim that's why they don't cross the atlantic ocean
For example : New Found Glory , and Goo goo dolls don't exist for french people except the one who have an internet connection

This doesn't just apply to Vanessa but, I think STREET TEAMS are destroying artists promotions.  I know it sounds like such a great thing to everybody and fans love it.  But what I think it really accomplishes is lax and lazy promotion of artists.

Once a record company establishes a street team they pass off alot of teh tasks that use to fall to interns and low level employess of the company... and then never give those most basic promotions which in many cases are the most important, a second thought.  Than if the artists fails, they can blame the bad promotion on the fans and wash their hands of it.  I think Vanessa is a huge case for this.

Her promotion is horrible... and truly i think if it was not for us.. and even by US i mean a SMALL minority of those of us around here... she would be much worse off than she is...

No i'm not so pretentious to think that only the NESSAholics are responsibe for keeping Vanessa goingm but tell me, Avril is on the cover of every teen magazine out there... same with most young artists these days...  Michelle just did a layout showing off this year's latest prom dresses...  i know those sound trivial, but Vanessa is getting Best/Worst Dressed colums in Us Weekly.  That's it and that's not even of her own doing...  She is old enough to be getting herself into some real publicity.. the Dateline thing was amazing.. her publicists need to be hitting the womens mags... go for the adults... Cosmo, et al...

It is frustrating to see... I hope someone gets a huge cick in the ass for VC2.. she deserves it...  and everyone needs to know...
