Once you have a car of your own, its so much easier to do lol. I'm sure no
one here likes considering parking tickets breaches of the law, but that is
exactly how local governments are able to enforce 'Infringement Notices'.

Some authorities have gone out of their way to raise revenue from fines. I
am fortunate though, that things are nothing here like they are in Victoria!

Peace

i want to prank call someone and be like:

Hello this is Rafonda from the FBI, we are calling regarding your child ripping the tags off of mattresses in the department store. As it warns on the mattress, you may not remove the tags unless you are the consumer by law. We need you to give [some random #] a call to avoid a fine of $5,000 or a sentence in jail for one month.

then they'll be confused and try to say "I don't have kids [or] my children didn't do that."

then i'll say: "We caught them on store security cameras and did a finger print test, as i said previously please call [number] to pay your fine have a good day [hangs up]"

it sounds almost as funny as calling taco bell customer service and yelling:

"PUBES IN TACO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I yell at people who prank call me in a foreign language so they think they have the wrong number.

I once worked in a mail-sorting room for the local council; the infringement
notice reponses accompanied with payments were a source of humour for
those of us sortng them, reminding us how much people hate being fined!

Peace

I'm reminded of a story about a man who was caught speeding by a traffic camera, and mailed a ticket with a photo of his offense.  He mailed in a photo of the money to pay the ticket, and then received in the mail a photo of handcuffs.  This time he paid the ticket for real.
