Does anyone play? I used to when I was a kid, but just with my brother. Supposedly it's a game for nerds, but I like it because the artwork is awesome. I haven't played for years. I was once at a market and they had a tournament thingy going on. I walked past and casually had a look (I wanted to see if any of my cards were valuable, coz they had cards for sale... ok it's a bit nerdy of me, lol), and the guy running it was really trying so hard to get me to play, becuase he'd hardly met any girls who played. I think he'd just never met girls, period. He creeped me out and I left, but I thought it was a funny story.

I have 2 sets of cards that my high school best friend gave me years ago but I never learned how to play, I did try but no many times, they have pretty cool drawings and I don't know why but I like the way the cards smell.

I used to play at school!

I've still got my cards somwhere I'm sure. Some of them used to be worth a lot of money. Maybe they still are.

I like... used to play. And I still have my cards. They have pretty cool artwork. I found them yesterday, actually.

I played it back in middle school. Talk about a complicated game. That and D&D pretty much solidified my status as a life-long nerd. XD

I still rock tabletop RPGs, but I never really fond that many people into Magic around here, aside from the Comicbook Guy-esque guys that used to play at my friend's dad's hobby shop. Now that it's online, I might give it another try.

When I was deployed to Bosnia in 96-97, Wizards of the Coast shipped crates of starter packs over.  The USO would sponsor tournaments at each of the military bases so we could pass the time.  I still have my deadly Red/Black deck and my happy/peaceful White/Green/Blue deck.

I played when I was in high school.

I liked my green thumper deck, and I had a black deck which would make people keep discarding cards, and I had a creature who got +1/+1 or something crazy like that for every creature in my opponents graveyard.

Fun times, fun times. lol

My brother and cousins played alot throughout high school. They still play it together at family parties. It's pretty funny bc my brother wasn't a dork and neither were my cousins. Umm, I tried to learn it a few times, but it was really complicated to me when I was like 12 and I didn't like how it was just cards.

But now I play World of Warcraft like crazy obsessively. So does Pete, Logikal X. We're pretty much nerds :)

Never heard of it.
