When I first posted it, there were dozens of responses....very few people actually sent something over the course of several months.  A few of the tracks had severe audio problems that needed to be fixed in a time consuming fashion.  There were personal issues that got in the way, as well.  After that, every time I thought about the project, I thought, ".....grrr...I don't want to do the f@%%er", so I shelved it for awhile.

After I picked it up again, I had a few false starts with the person I had originally chosen for graphics.  This wasted several months.  Communication broke down entirely, and so I had to find someone else.  

The first time I attempted to give it to VC, I had to settle for giving it to Mark, as I missed her by seconds....I mean seconds!  So I just kinda settled for it being this "cursed" project that no one really cared about.

Last August, over THREE YEARS from the date of my original blueboard announcement, at The Bitter End, I was able to put it in her hand and explain to her that it was made by fans.  Whew.  

It was harder to put together than a real CD!  Hands down, it was the most difficult AND least rewarding of any musical project I have ever undertaken.

I imagine the prices will be the same over here, maybe more.

I doubt V would play new songs at the tour here though....nobody even knows that Harmonium exists, so I reckon it'd be mostly things off that and BNN.  

And I wanna find out how much it is... I hope she does some solo promo stuff, but I doubt that would happen either.

I think she'll play a set she's comfortable with - which to me doesn't suggest BNN. If I were her, I'd be looking for an opportunity to expose people to her new music. Why play old songs if you have new ones? ESPECIALLY when you'll try and sell the public those new songs next year.

Unless she has a new album out in time for this tour next year, she won't do solo promo. There'll be a chance of one club show, though. Like Simple Plan did when they came with Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs are doing with Foo Fighters, and MCR are doing with the Green Day tour.

As for signing...well she's playing arenas, and there isn't really a 'stage' door - well in Melbourne anyway. It'll be pretty hard, you know. I'm excited though, I'll most likely get a photo pass, and have been promised any interviews with Vanessa that come up for the few mags I write for

are you coming to Sydney then?
$150 .. and I don't even like Stevie Nicks .. I don't know .. If you come down i'll go .. otherwise .. most likely then .. not really .. even though I've been waiting for SO SO long ..

I'm eating battered deep fried bananas with heaps of icecream as snack as well as for breakfast lunch and dinner getting ALL my nutritional value and not getting any fatter :-)

I said they have no right .. I didn't say it doesn't exist ..
my point was out of annoyance .. purely that .. it doesn't matter what the reason is .. there's just no justification ... that's all ... and getting quoted with morningstings spin wasn't how I intended the post .. :-P

You see it coincides with the bird flying at longitude and latitue 41"34' and 78"89' .. and it blocked the sun for a moment .. and then there was a bit of darkness and the lizard was sunnings itself and then became cold blooded and stiff again, and it made a meek rat trip over and the meet rat sent a stick flying, and the stick landed on a bell and the bell reverberated and the reverberations caused ultra sonic sounds and the ultra sonic sounds caused momuntary INSANITY!!!

... London was bombed and people do not have the right to take away the lives of other people ... period ...
