lol that was quite an interesting read...

I'm 19, I'm not a virgin, as of February this year. I don't regret it.

Polls / most you've ever drank?

Holls, you really are right about being "tame" for a college student.  Almost everyone at my school drinks atleast 3 nights a week.  I know ppl who are drunk almost every night.  Sad stuff...

What I don't know is how they can afford to be drunk every night... I don't know how much university costs in the States, but I know that I most certainly can't afford to go out every night. Take tonight for example, usually every Monday I go out to an indie night with some friends - it's my only definite night out. However this week, I'm having to give it a miss, partially because I have an essay due in but mostly because if I want to go out tomorrow night, I can't go out tonight.

The most I've ever had to drink? Uhhh... either my 19th birthday (we went to a local indie club, and people kept buying me drinks lol. One friend was like "This is to make up for being SOBER on your 18th!") or this one night during my Freshers Fortnight at the start of uni (drinking games before we left = falling over on the way to the union)

i'm a lit major too! any period or author you like in particular? what kind of lit classes are you taking now? (sorry for the questions, it's not everyday i run in to another book geek like myself   )

lol that's cool, I don't mind the questions! I'm just finishing my first year, and parts of it have been okay. Some of the modules were just horrible though. I know everyone says it, but I love Shakespeare, and next year I've opted for a Shakespearean History module, which I'm really looking forward to. I'm currently procrastinating hehe, I've got an essay for my Rereading Literary Texts unit that's due tomorrow. I haven't started it

Next year I've chosen to do 2 units on Literature of War and Revolution. I studied war literature for my A level, and really loved it. I'm also taking a class on Literary Detectives that should be pretty interesting.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys, and hey amberbeads, you're on the Wreckers boards aren't you?

The new site is beautiful, you did a great job Weiser

I can't be doing with reading the other 70 pages of the thread, I shall just say I love Meech, and I'm loving the live stuff I've heard of The Wreckers. I think the girls are great separately and great together. To be honest if it were me and one of my closest friends, nothing would excite me more or refuel my desire to write than a project like this.

This damn album is testing my patience though lol, it's driving me crazy cos I just want it NOW! And add on the fact that it may not even get a proper UK release, thus I'll have to import it from the States.

Hey!! I was at the same gig as you- i was at the front too! Unfortunately i was about 15 at the time and could not stop screaming, hehe. Me and my friend were the ones with the flags. We met her afterwards too!

I live in Hampshire so you live really near me! Its freaky how all the nessa fans from england come from the south pretty much. Welcome aboard!

lmao! I can't believe you met her *tries not to be jealous and fails miserably* my friend and I were stood right in front of the bass player... where we you? Hmm *ponders* I don't remember any flags lol, but I do remember lots of screaming

I'm loving all the live mp3s I've heard so far. Michelle and Jess are both fantabulous in their own right... so together it's amazing lol. I just have a feeling the album won't get released in the UK, it'll be an import jobby.

I'm only just getting into Howie's music thanks to a friend of my boyfriend, but I absolutely love it. There are some fantastic songs on those albums  :)

my best friend and I ordered our copies of Harmonium from the website when they did the limited edition t-shirt deal for the release. I still had to wait months for it... we're not sure if they ours got lost in the post or they just overlooked our order or something.

I always have a look in the local HMV, but they never have any copies... not even imports. Even the huge HMV in Oxford Street had nothing. No BNN. No Harmonium. I was shocked.

Just thought I'd post to say hi... I'm new here, I occasionally nose round the official forums but never really post there.

I've been a Nessa fan for about 3 years now and was lucky enough to see her at the Shepherd's Bush Empire back in February 2003... I was riiiiiiight at the front, and got to chat with her drummer for a bit which was pretty cool.

Ummm... what else... oh my name lol, I'm Caz, I'm 19 and studying English Literature at the University of Portsmouth. I play guitar and piano, and I sing at every available opportunity.

That's pretty much it! *trots off to post*
