Milla is actually one of our forum own!  She just released her demo, and I am absolutely in love with it!  I've been listening to her rough cuts for months now; those were the gems that hooked me. :) But this demo is...well...AWESOME!  I highly recommend you give it a listen, even if just to support one of our beloved own. :)

Why are you so bitchy about people wanting to add you on myspace? It's very off-putting

umm cause a couple weeks ago i kept getting bombarded with automated type messages from bands, where they kept trying to make me add them as friends and use my page as advertising space. it was frustrating to just keep getting that when you think you have an actual, personal message. that's what bulletins are for. plus i feel that with regards to just adding people randomly there is no point, i generally just seek my own stuff out to listen to, and I would rather people who liked my songs came to me than I sent them loads of stuff. I know I ask people to listen to my music here on nessaholics but you can just choose to ignore this, whereas i think it's dumb when bands just try to like hound people and make them add them so much. It isn't meant to be bitchy, i'm not saying 'don't add me' rather, 'don't bombard me with promotional messages'. I think they should let people come to them a bit more, cause a lot of the time I feel people on myspace are just looking to increase their profile views etc instead of actually wanting people to listen to what they have to say. if it really comes across bitchy i'll modify it or something but i guess it's cause i was pissed from getting so many when i put that up there last week, but it is sort of tongue in cheek anyway. i'm sorry if i offended you or put you off or anything. wasn't meant.

It's cool. I was just thinking of adding you because I want to show support to other chicks out there making their own music, but I felt like you were telling me (or anyone else) to piss off. Anyway, wait till I have music on my myspace page, and if you like it, then add me, if you don't, it doesn't matter.  :)

When you first start out, are you going to record with a band or just make an acoustic album and then do something with a band later like Patty Griffin?

Or, are you going to do more of a Broken Bracelet type thing and mix it up depending on the song?

lol...Patty actually recorded Living With Ghosts with a band.  Apparently, LWG "plugged" sucked (I've never heard it) so they decided to use the acoustic demos.  Nevertheless, LWG is a wonderful album, and I love the whole singer with guitar only effect.

That was a piece of useless information brought to you by me.

It wasn't completely useless, I learned something interesting and new.

Useless information would have been something like-

-Patty collects salt shakers.
