Well its just been made clear to you that you dont have to search for things online to find them. Do you think people go out and search for spyware and viruses to screw their computer up? No. This is the internet, its a forum open to the public. If you cant handle someone merely mentioning a word, not directed at anyone in particular, youre a crybaby.

Being offended by the racial slur "kyke" does not make me a crybaby. All I want is an explanation of why you said "can you say kike?" Why the hell would you say such an insensitive word?

Its a slang term. Both spellings, kyke, and kike are accepted, orrr not accepted since they are clearly racial.

I wasn't insulting YOU, I was the insulted one because you said it. I don't know if you were joking or not, but I don't think that's a very cool joke

Im pretty sure calling someone genius after being a grammar nazi is an insult.  Ive never heard of "jew" being accepted either hence the mention of the word.  If youre that easily offended maybe you shouldnt be on the internet...

Of course the word "Jew" is accepted. But "kyke" is a racial slur, and, yes I am offended by it. And sorry I said "genius" but their comment made me angry. I think Bar can back me up [if they're still reading this.] As for being on the internet, I don't look up anti-Semitic things, so I don't understand what you're saying.
Anyway, this is getting off-topic. I don't even think a couple of the people who commented this even watched the parody lol!

someone thought NOLITA fairytale was DON'T NEED A fairytale.

I actually like that better than Nolita, lol. Like she doesn't have to dream about having the perfect label anymore because *in a whimsical voice* it has finally come truuuuuue.

LOL I just watched that :D
Funny stuff
And about the not being able to say jew thing...
My friend who is jewish calls herself a jew all the time. I don't see what's wrong with it. It's just like someone calling themself any other religion. Nothing offensive there.

Well, it's more than a religion, it's a race of people (hebrew, more specifically). That's why some think the word jew is "offensive" to Jewish people. But, yeah, like I said, we call ourselves Jews all the time; nothing wrong w/ it

so yeah...
I remember hearing Vanessa talk about this movie during the recording of Rinse @ the Mercury Lounge (12/4/2000)

and I was at my friends apartment and he's like what movie should we watch, and started listing them.
so naturally I freaked out when he said Spinal Tap.

and we ended up watching it.
---

so anyway
yeah this movie was pretty good =)
and yeah it is kinda funny.

it's a "rockumentary" about a band called "Spinal Tap" ...and it has its funny moments, but it isn't a comedy.

I approve =)
pretty awesome.

....I wonder if Vanessa ever got to watch the whole thing... lol...
but yeah don't watch it if you're sleepy... cause it has some moments where its kinda slow...

Oh my Goodness, are you kidding?! Spinal Tap has got to be one of the funniest English comedies I have ever seen! It's so dry and sarcastic :) I especially love when they had that tiny little model of Stone Hedge during a concert on stage and the dwarfs were tripping on it, I was cracking up
Okay, I'm done now haha

You know you can't say 'jews' here, lol
It's considered a bad word.

Knew that was coming.
Jews isn't a bad word unless you use it in a bad context.

Even if it was in bad context, we [as Jewish people hehe :)] don't consider Jew a bad word. It's what we are. I mean, I don't know if this is an inside joke and you're all just kidding, but I just thought I would say that lol And we weren't really talking about "Jews," we were quoting the funniest part of the song  :D

I think that they're all easy with the exception of Papa and Half a Week Before the Winter. Not that that's bad, but w/ most contemporary music, the instrumental part is repetitive; if you know one part you know a lot of the song. Yeah :) But Hallf a Week and Papa show some SERIOUS piano skills

Although I've never really respected the Grammys, the last few years have proved that they are worthless. Somethings I consider barely music win.
*tear for the music industry today*

Well, I'm glad you're not on the commitee then.

Music snob.  :?

Well, neither of you are being very nice

The original Evanescence or as many know them as the band ev ripped off of.

They hail from the UK and have had two recent US hits with "Heavens A Lie" and the new "Swamped."

They "hail from" Milan, Italy not UK....
