hi tiffany! you should get a copy of heroes and thieves, nessa's 3rd album. its a great album and my fave album of nessa. great melody and lyrics.  

oh yes!!! i really want to!!!

the thing is, it is really hard to get her disc in HK

just like it is really hard for me to get Vanessa's CDs
i actually had to order Be Not Nobody online.

If i'm going to order an augustana's CD, which one do you suggest?

Hey Tiffany! Welcome to the nessaholic forums

Ur question is a very interesting one...ive been wondering about that for a while now....and only the other day did i realize that many people take it in a bad way...
On my wall in my room, I have Vanessa posters and quotes from her songs....
One of them says ' And if u dont believe me, just put ur hands on me...'

My friend was over and he didnt even know that is was a quote from a song....and he was making fun of me saying im a perve and stuff

so its not that clear to people.....

it probably has nothing to do with being a perve and wanting to be touched by someone.... but thats how it seems...especially to people who aren't Vanessa fans and do not know that most of her songs have a totally hidden meaning...

Anyway...i will try to analyze that song now....see if I can find a deeper meaning

i always thought that it is some idioms or proverbs in english and all native english speakers would understand
i was even afraid that i was asking a dumb question...

now i know that it is not the case, i am not bothered anymore

we can all think about it

maybe 'putting your hands on me' might symbolize a test of faith? because the lyrics go 'if you don'r believe me, just put your hands on me'
or it might mean an act of trust?

i don't know...

anyway, everyone can have their own interpretation and that's the magic of vanessa's lyrics  :razz:

i am from hong kong and you can call me tiffany

my username is ordinary day because that is the first nessa song that i heard and immediately became a fan  

in fact, that happened quite recently...and i haven't heard about vanessa before that

i have just ordered her be not nobody in amazon.com and i am waiting for its arrival! (i tried to ordered heroes and thieves, but the supplier doesn't deliver it to hong kong   )
