I'm pretty sure it did happen because in an interview taken very recently she said something about being on a beach with her friend in Florida.

But the FIRST line of that article read "Vanessa Carlton makes little eye-contact and keeps her focus on a mid-March sun soaked window with a view of a few rooftops of downtown New York City. "

This exclusivity is ridiculous. No wonder VC is tanking in the market.

This is a concert in celebration of 90 years of Douglass College (which doesn't really exist anymore except as a form of residence but that is another issue all together.)

Point is it's not supposed to be a promo tour for V, that's just the benefit she gets for doing any appearance.  Instead it's a gift for the students (she was chosen by them --kinda) and alumni that will kick start their week of celebration.

it is definitely reserved seating. your seats are good though. you are 10th row cuz center stars with row C, and they skip row I.
