Already bought the album. The production is terrific, and so is the artwork. Looks like a major label release....can that be far behind???

I like TSR a lot. I'm a sucker for how Beatle-ish the album sounds at times. The only thing that has begun to get on my nerves is her tendency to close out every line with "...ah!"(this is prolly the wannabe producer in me). It's irritating over the course of a whole CD. "Turn it inside out so I can see-ah"...etc. etc.
No reason why you can't enjoy both. Hell, we have Marilyn Manson fans that are VC fans, so why not? There's not enough good music out there; turn on the radio if you don't believe me!

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Anti-Nessa is correct

Record companies pay people to make sure that their artists' records are in stock, particularly along the tour itinerary(I used to know someone who did it). Sounds like A&M/Universal isn't doing their job. John Mellencamp actually left Mercury/PolyGram over that issue, among others. Sadly, A&M may feel that BNN is done with. Even if that's the case., it's a shame not to keep her name out there, especially if she will release a new CD this year.
We all know, though, that logic has no place anywhere in the entertainment business.

I'm pretty much moving over here now. Let the armchair revolutionaries continue their political BS over at the VCMB. That always puzzled me anyway. There is at least one person there my age trying to influence the political views of mostly 15 year olds. Hello?
Anyhow, I've had to put the Nessaholic CD on the back burner. Not getting into it, but life is entirely different for me now and I have nowhere near the time I used to. I am still doing it though. I have all the submissions and most of the artwork. Fear not. There is some really good stuff on there. I want to do my personal best job with it, as getting it to Vanessa is a goal.

Everyone has an ego, but there are some who are there purely for the attention, which if you think about it-considering they're not even physically present-it's the pinnacle of pathetic. It's like your aunt and uncle coming over your house and your nieces and nephews all have ADHD, ate a case of Hershey bars and smoked crack. No communication can really occur, because they're running all around, saying nonsensical things and generally just being a pain in the ass.
Even more distressing is the people who have obvious mental problems.
Some of the things that we are asked to believe of the board members are just ridiculous. Actually, I believe many are on to them and are just humoring them, the most blatant example being the record deal guy; what an insult to those of us who have hit the bricks over the years and are trying to make a career out of music. If I met him it would be a bad idea. Then again, he's most likely someone's nephew.
A question, then...I know there is no shortage of chat rooms, but is there
one available here? I figure that would be a huge nail in the other site's coffin, and we can be rid of Fullerene and the nieces and nephews problem. Just a thought, and again....great to be here!!!
P.S. Dio have you seen Rush on this tour? Awesome show!!!
