No they're not silly! Sugababes are more popular all throughout Europe and their music isn't 100% pop. Girls Aloud is pure British pop, and more manufactured.

They're both huge girlbands in the UK. Girls Aloud have more manufactured British pop music whereas Sugababes have a more R&B sound to them and are well-known not only in the UK but all throughout Europe.

Yeah Sugababes actually get a say in the songs they do and have rarely covered a song, none that I can think of, whereas all but 1 (sound of the underground) of girls aloud's songs are covered.

God I hate what both have become in their last few videos and songs!
