Although, sadly, it won't clean your hardware for you. They should write that into the next kernel version.
Amen to that! My linux box is the dirtiest computer ever. I don't know how it gets that way. Knowing the Linux kernel though, drivers will be a problem. I don't want to have go out and buy a new Linux supported case to make this work!
The best thing to do would be to have a PCI card with a sensor (to detect a certain level of dust) and attach it to one of those compressed air cans strapped inside your case. Then the driver can blast away the dust as needed
Hmmm I suppose there'd need to be a case exhaust as well, to let the dust out.
Hey, that sounds like a marketable idea! Except that you'd get dust all over your desk :-/ Oh and there'd be an explosive compressed air can inside the hot PC
