It can definitely work Jen... just make sure your conversations aren't always "cutesey" and/or "flirty."  If you want to get to know somebody somtimes you gotta ask the real questions that get inside someone... don't be afraid to look deep... that's where the person you love is... find that person and you're almost guaranteed a success...

I just wanted to agree with the all positive comments about meeting that special someone online. It's the new age of communication.. why limit yourself to people you see every day when someone who could make you happy for the rest of your life could be out there somewhere. I think it's a very positive thing that this is becoming more common .. as long as it's done in the right way. There are some strange people about, so you just need to be on your guard.

Talking to someone online can allow you to get close to that person and really understand them on an intellectual level before you need worry about the physical aspects of being with each other .. that's something special to look forward to when you know it's what you want. If two people truly love each other then there will always be a way for them to be together .. they just have to work at it and, most importantly, have faith and trust in each other and be patient.

I wish you all the best Jen. I hope this is the begining of a wonderful relationship =)

Well it sounds like you're taking the right approach Jen. Just take it slow and see how things develop between you. You have plenty of time ahead of you and if you form a strong bond between you then it'll be well worth the wait =)
