I'm halfway out the door I should get off the bathroom floor
« on: November 15, 2003, 05:13:45 pm »
So . . . Is anyone else here a pyro(maniac)? 'Cause if you are - TOILET PAPER BURNS EASILY. Yes, I just caught a piece on fire with a Christmas candle (yes we already have them out - my doing) and it started burning and the flame got bigger and it started burning my hand so I dropped it, but then it fell on a bookcase, and I didn't know what to do so I started stepping on it but that didn't work so I took my sweatshirt off and started hitting it and it was, like, flying around but it finally went out. Also, don't set anything that's hot on a lighter. *explodes* And another thing, catch cereal boxes on fire any time you have the chance.

Just some advice. I'll have more as time goes on.

hahahahaha
yeah
a long time ago (years ago) i was playing with a sented candle (in glass) and i was turning paper towel sheets brown (from the fire)
and well, i sort of let one get too dark, and it buned.. and turned into a flame...
i remember this perfectally..
my mom was in the room next to me, (laundry room) so she didnt see anything...
i was like OMG!!!!!!
i screamed a couple of times, but my mom was like "what?" and didnt do anything
(from in the middle of the air[when i dropped it] it fell onto the arm of our couch... i quickly brushed it off, and it landed on the carpet.. i was so scared ... i started to stomp on it, and YaYYY it went out!!! ;-)
then i went up stairs and wet a paper towel to rub on the spot on the carpet(which turned black)[very small spot]
to this day, my mom STILL never knows this happened.. and does not know what the black spot is from...lol

but yeah wow, i wont be burning any paper towels for a longgggg time

since then, my experences with fire have been... using matches properly...
and the ocasional playing with a lit candle and watching how the wax forms in the sink ...oh and playing with lighters.. but not often..

i may be a slight pyromanic.. but i will not admit that i have a problem yet...
i mean... i dont go burning down things or commiting arson....
i simply like the way fire looks... its soooo cool!!!

Me and my friends were outside having a bonfire on my deck (or whatever they are, we have this little thing that has fires and....AHHH!).

My pyromaniac friend throws in a small amount of paper towel. It burns up, flies into the air and disappears into many pieces. This means disaster.

Jeff throws in about 8 pieces. They are all over the sky by our house. My mom comes out, she is scared shitless. There is fire floating near our house and trees. Nothing besides the paper caught on fire though. Needless to say, no more bonfires.

my friend almost burned the house down when she was dangling a kleenex over a candle flame and it ignited. she dropped it on the carpet and luckily i knew enough to stomp on it.  Scorch mark is still there though. O:-)

Have you ever done that trick with Amaretti wrappers? If you shape them into a cyclinder, stand them upright, and light them at the bottom they burn the most beautiful colours and rise way up into the air!

yeah, they are- like almond biscotti. In reaaaally pretty wrappers. You probably do have them, on import or something. They are SO yummy! They also remind me of christmas, we do that lighting thing all at once with loads of them round the table and they all float up!
