Those Damn Ribbons!

Those Support Our Troops ribbons are attacking our country! They just piss me off SO MUCH.  First off they just look ugly on cars... but what gets to me is that... how are you suporting troops by going to walgreens and buying an ugly ribbon for 4 bucks and slapping it on your car?  I wish the 4 bucks that everyone spent on those things actually went to the troops.  Imagine what they could do with all that money!

Lol, everytime I see a ribbon on a car, I think of you Nicole, and going to Boston.  Haha.  But just like everything else they're made in China.  Hooray.

If the ribbons are legit, the proceeds do go towards charities that "support the troops".

oh my God my brother complains about them literally every time we go somewhere!!! I think they're ugly, too... But if it was actually for charity I guess it wouldn't be so bad.

I totally agree Nicole. Many charities don't actually help anybody. I'd nnever donate to the MDA because I've never seen any help from them when I needed it. Hell they even want me to pay to attend the comedy show during the telethon.

i can see where you're coming from. a lot of people do have them, but it's comfort for people like my family who know soldiers over in Iraq as well. *shrug*
