Well so much for that 'dialogue', eh nerea? The Socialists are idiots for even thinking they can reason with people like this.

SO glad it was you who said that and not me. Don't even get me started. Offering dialogue when nobody on the terrorist side has made any moves? They argue it's because they are in an "undeclared truce" Yeah right. They're just too weak to function - thanks to the previous government's anti-terrorist policies - but giving them these sort of facilities and welcoming them evrywhere is only going to make them stronger - this bombing proves me right, I believe.

You have to read between lines though. Zapatero needs to appear tolerant and friendly towards the terrorists cos he needs the sympathy of nationalist groups in the Basque Country and Catalonia to stay in power.  The worst thing is that, by doing that, they're weakening their relationships with their natural partners in the anti-terrorist fight (PP that is) more and more. It's awful any way you look at it - if you really want to defeat ETA you need a united front - but even more in the Basque Country, where PP and the socialists are the only non-nationalist parties, and by moving away from them they're giving away any hopes of change (politics wise at least) since a coalition of "constitutionalists" in the Basque parliament would be the only way to get PNV out of power.

So sad, yet so true.

there's only four seasons
and this one's almost gone
these nights feel so good
but this one's almost gone
