I'm sure they were Mexican finger traps!? hmmm...

hmm....could be either.  i always called them chinese finger traps, but, knowing my genious for getting things right, they probably are mexican finger traps. all i know is that those things are tricky, though awfully amusing to the easily amused ( such as myself )

I love slap bracelets too!  Hey, does anyone here happen to have a leopard-spotted slap bracelet they'd sell me?  I used to have one that was kinda sentimental to me, but it's missing and I'd like another one to replace it.

Aaah it's a slap bracelet! I've seen those with little clocks in them which you can use as a watch. Thx for the replies.

they banned those in school because people were getting cut by them when the fabric wore away....little clocks eh, with such a dangerous device as is i wouldn't rule out the possibility of them being timed explosive devices...

actualllly... its a snap bracelet....They were popular in the early 90's in the US.  They are a straight piece of metal covered with a colorful cloth that when struck against your wrist slightly will coil around it.  She has a few on her wrist as well if you can see the bracelet bands are the same width

Ooh, you're good!

I think Logikal is right.
