I worked at State Farm before I was 18. I mostly filed stuff and took claims and answered phones and did the bank deposits and sorted the mail. It wasn't that hard and it was a calm environment. Kinda boring, but at least it's not some greasy McDonald's and I learned a few helpful things about insurance. You could look into that. All the insurance places around where I live like high school kids for summer help and whatnot. I knew a girl that was pretty much like a secretary for a law office and she wasn't 18 either. Just go around to the local businesses and ask if they hire summer help is a good idea.
