It's really sad but he did do some very risky things. It's ironic that what killed him was something that would be considered safe most of the time. His death will probably do more for the conservation issues he supported than staying alive would have which is really wrong.

It's pretty sad and I liked him and everything but he did pretty stupid things, he most have known that his life was constantly in danger.

Yeah, on the news they said about his "exciting life of danger"... well we all die someday, but if you lead a life of danger, it's unfortunately likely to come sooner rather than later...
