Vanessa = Bob Dylan?

Okay this might be totally out there, but I get a Bob Dylan vibe from "Heroes and Thieves"-- it REALLY reminds me of "times they are a changing". It's weird because technically the two songs sound nothing alike-- it's like she is the female version or something.

Basically i really dig the new sound, and I hope the rest of the album sounds similar.

I could unserstand a Carole King comparison... but Bob Dylan? I have 61 Revisited and Blood on the Tracks and I can't say I hear Vanessa in either of them. Just my opinion, though.

I can't say I notice a similarity between 'Heroes and Theives' and 'Times they are a-changing'. The themes explored are very different.
Through I love both V and Dylan's music equally, it's for different reasons. Haha I love the idea of V being the new Bob Dylan, but honestly, I don't think the two are alike in any way.

The music sounds like "She's Always a Woman to Me" by Billy Joel...and "Papa" always reminded me of Joel's "Piano Man."
