Best Behaviour played in superstores.
« on: May 23, 2007, 08:56:32 am »
Apparently, my friend Dawn just came back from shopping and Morrisons supermarket here in UK were playing Best Behaviour and they advertised it as being from "Vanessa Carlton's new album...coming soon"

Not sure what this means but it's the first i've heard about the album in terms of uk coverage.

Best Behavior?? that's a shocker..

then again... last time Vanessa thought a song was going to be her first single (Private Radio), it wasn't....
edit: come to think of it.... she also thought Ordinary Day was going to be her first single from her first album :P

is My Best being replaced by Best Bahavior as the first single???

...anything's possible

It is very accessible which is good for a first single.  I can't wait for her next album to be here.  Go Carlton!

I doesn't necessarily means that Best Behavior will be the first single, it could just be a preview.

Awesome though, but yeah we'll have to wait and see if it's actually her first single or not :D   In any case, that's really exciiiiting!

It is so not easy being a VC fan.  With so many pregnant pauses we could have a whole family by now...though at least we get to hear some of the music ahead of time, which is too cool.

yeah.. it doesn't necessarily mean it's a single.. remember when they did that promosquad preview of this time? i really doubt that this time will be the single. maybe best behaviour.. but i don't think so.. i dunno..

It might be a good summer song, but at this rate it seems like if it is the single it'd be a fall/winter single, but sounds lighter and more summery than that. It's a very young sounding song though and it might staple her back into the "little girl song" category she has sort of been cornered in. But I have to admit, I kind of like that about her. If she didn't have any songs that fit that vein on her subsequent albums I'd be a little bit disappointed. She can't really help it though, it's mostly because her voice sounds so young.

It could just be a huge Vanessa Carlton fan working there and taking over the PA system.

I think best behavior could do really well. I liked it the instant I heard it.. and you never know, it could have changed a lot post-production.  :?
