Not that it would be the end of the world if this were the album cover, but I sure as hell hope you're right. I don't particularly favor it (though red and black is awesome), but the faded red cameo picture has got to go, and the black background is bland. BUT, it's the music that counts. and surely the lyric booklet and back cover slip will be different. but the colors don't represent the album at all.

For the vid, I'd really love for Vanessa to sorta have her dogs with her walkin' down the street and a little piano playing here and there. Just a cool chill-out video... maybe here...?

Nolita Fairytale is getting bigger....on Vanessa's top 5 songs downloaded under her name Nolita Fairytale its # 4...

1.A Thousand Miles
2.Big Yellow Taxi
3.White Houses
4.Nolita Fairytale
5.Ordinary Day

I think thats pretty spiffy lets see if it ever gets up to number one! lol you never know.

Thats awesome....im sure it will for sure get to her #3 probably #2 but i dont think it will get to her #1.lol

this is the first single (without album release) since itunes has blown-up

i actually just got back from NYC and ate at Ruby's.. the food was awesome. I took pictures inside... so I'll post them for you guys. The restaurant is tiiiiny. but its so cute and quaint and right around the corner from the spring street stop on the e train. love it.

That the my sounds a lot like ny? I know ny isn't a word LOL, but could she be singing something else? Or is it just me?

I think it's just you. Listen to her playing it live - you can hear her sing "my truth" more clearly. :)

sorry if this has already been asked/answered...

By the way I am spreading the word of Nolita Fairytale- and alot of people here unexpectedly like it! My friend who is into lady sovereign (just about the opposite of Vanessa) said it's 'catchy' and thats high praise from her  :lol:
