No one wants to go on MTV. Just as Lewis Black says, "MTV is to music as KFC is to chicken."

It's full of shit but you have to sit there and smell it anyway. She has to go through MTV if she wants to or not.

even if she does go on mtv, no one in my area even watched mtv anymore! plus I mean they don't even show vids as much (few hours in the morning) agh. I hate mtv with a passion of a million buring suns.  :twisted:

Those YouTube stats are actually pretty spectacular when you think of how many millions of videos there are on there!! What is 'success' these days any way though? It's hard to even know. In the UK, the charts are decided by downloads which would work much more in Vanessa's favour.

Marc Klasfield has directed some absolutely brilliant videos!! He has a very definite style.

I'm a Vh1 person. Not an MTV one. Plus Vh1 ACTUALLY supports up and coming artists. Regina Spektor was in their "You Oughta KNow" Artists and she became really popular and then Brandi Carlile, A Fine Frenzy etc. with promoting albums and tours. I'd be very happy if Vanessa does a video premier type of thing on Vh1, maybe a couple of live performances.
All MTV does is show ass...  :lol:

But Vh1 is more music, where Mtv is more celebrity/reality show rather then music.
