Wow I was surprised to find ALL this after my post. I was slightly offended by what Amberbeads said, but I really appreciate the apology. Though Amberbeads you did give charmedguy some unnecessary hostility. He was only trying to neutralize the situation? I guess I was wrong for saying the producers decided to not include Nolita Fairytale in the countdown, it was an impulsive statement, but that was only because I had checked almost everyday where Vanessa's position was on the list. She was indeed "flaming" everyday of the voting week. And charmedguy thanks for sticking up for me you completely got my drift because I of course did not mean to make any quick conclusions or "theories." I simply wanted to find out why Vanessa didn't make the countdown despite all the flaming days. haha.
One of you said it was probably because a small group of fans took perhaps a majority of the votes so that didn't help qualify the song and maybe the video just needs more exposure to "casual fans." I think these answers could all be possibly correct--there's definitely still a question mark lingering over this topic.
Anyway, let's all be friends and try not to make any "smartass" comments. Some people do get over-excited and can make overly observatory statements without thinking it through.

Maybe Top 20's not worthy of Nolita. Look at it this way, songs from Goo Goo Dolls, Fergie, Match Box 20!, Elliot Yamin (can't think of them all), all suck. And all of which somehow made it on the countdown. That's what's really boggling my mind. I only want Nolita to gain more exposure by being on TV.
