It was actually a free concert, you had to call the radio station to get 2 tickets. They were giving away 250 and then were going to charge $40 at the door. Unfortunately, there were less than 250 at the show last night. I would estimate about 150.
It was actually quite embarrasing during the first few songs, because the people in back were talking loud and Vanessa has alot of pauses & candences in her new songs and you could hear everyone talking. But by the time she got to her 7th or 8th song, which was just breathtakingly beautiful, you could hear a pin drop.
It was just magical, everyone new song she played was more beautiful than the next.
But after her last song, eveyone screamed and whistled for about 3 min. and she came out and did one encore, 'white houses'.
