Spring Street is quite nice and it actually reminds me of a really Beatles song to be completely honest. I think it's going to take me more than a couple of listens to for me to be completely certain whether I like it or not. A first listen, i'd rate it a 6/7/10.

I'm listening to My Best at the moment. It's a really nice melody and i'm thinking that this song really reminds me of John Mayer. I'm sorry it's only a brief comment but I promise i'll provide a full review.

Come Undone is beautiful I think. You guys will love the piano in it. The drumming pattern reminds me of Nolita Fairytale.

The One. YES! She's done the alternate version of the One - ie. not the one recorded live @ The Living Room. It's the one she recorded in Japan and there are violins!

Erm..I believe she's ruined it but that's my opinion. It's like a a dead bland whine where you can bearly heard the melody.

:lol: Heroes and Thieves has a nice drumbeat to it and i'm sure I can hear some christmas-type percussion [like a small triangle] but you can still hear a crack in her voice at the end of the chorus - I'm going to have to relisten to it but I think she had it sung spot on, on the second chorus. There are more violins in this song.

The only criticism I have of the album so far is that the drumming on the tracks besides Nolita Fairytale sound like they're coming from a drum machine rather than a drum set. Some of the songs like Spring Street will take me a few more listens before I can say I really like them. For now, they're okay.

This Time - Oh God yes. This is the promo version we all heard. It's all good stuff. This is a really well made track. There are some places where she sings over herself which is quite nice.

I saw this post and my stomach sank.  I thought it would be like Harmonium all over again.  This time I'm not listening to it until the CD officially comes out.  But I hope everyone else enjoys, and from what I've read from your reactions so far it's shaping up to be her best album yet.
