i read that Saw V and Saw VI  might be shot back to back, meaning we wont get a saw in 2008...

not necessarily...The Lord of the Rings films were filmed back to back and released one each year...

the second two matrix films were shot back to back and release six months apart...

so i really dont know how they'd release them...i'd kind of rather them stick to the one a year deal...i've liked looking forward to them. hah

Greg Hoffman was a producer for the first 3 films...he died in December of 2005 during pre-production of the 3rd film

My friend Erin  convinced me to go see this with her tonight. I hadn't seen any of the Saw movies, but I thought it was actually a pretty good movie.

Anyone else think this movie was horrible?
I thought the deathtraps were pretty damn inventive, but the plotline really sucked.  The whole point of it was just to lead up to Saw 5, which people will still go see.  And when the detective said "Game over" at the end then waddled off, I thought that was horribly HORRIBLY cheesy.
