I agree. H & T is the best Nessa album so far. It's the only album that I can listen to all the way through without skipping songs.

well I can listen to all of her albums straight forward without having to skip a song or anything but the more I listen to the album the more I love it!

The thing is guys, you're all taking this too seriously. It's called an opinion. I rather like Heroes and Thieves and think it is a superior album overall compared to her previous records but i'm not going to shout at someone for not thinking the same way. Just because we're fans of Nessa, it doesn't give us an obligation to automatically like whatever she produces.

I say, leave opinions to opinions. When someone is "disappointed", acknowledge that opinion but state your opinion too [and prefably in the fan reviews thread]. You can't say, "I don't see why anyone would be disappointed". It's synonymous to saying, "You can't have an opinion" or "you must like everything Nessa does, no matter what".

But some opinions are a little TOO harsh. It's basicly saying that the record is shit, if I were Vanessa, I wouldn't like reading that on here..

I agree, opinions are opinions BUT you don't have to react in such a negative way

Why the hell not? Most fans who have given this "harsh opinion" could only establish themselves as a hardcore fan [of her previous attempts and efforts at least]. It's evidence of how strong a fan we are. It's not as though we don't appreciate how much she's worked so far within to call the record, "shit".

I ADORE V's previous albums and recordings, but I actually think H&T is her best album purely on my taste, which I agree is just my opinion. It's very different to her old stuff, although I think Nolita Fairytale is kinda a segway from old to new, it's weird to explain lol.
But I do love this album a lot :)

I LOVE H&T  I dont know if its her best album yet, but its still so unbelievably beautiful. I think BNN is the best album, Harmoniom is 2nd, and H&T 3rd..so in the order they came out LOL

im not talking about the fans who just states their opinion but for the harsh critics that affirm almost gruesome and nearly untruthful description about HAT...

I agree with HarmySandwich for the most part. I don't think Harmonium was as great as a lot of you do, but opinions are opinions, no? And while I think Heroes & Thieves is fantastc, some may not. Meh, more for me. :D

Harmonium might still be my favourite.
Heroes and Thieves could challenge that

I didnt enjoy Be Not Nobody. Dull.

I don't typically skip tracks when playing an album, even if some of them are really weak.  But 'Heroes and Thieves' is certainly Vanessa's best album so far in my ears. 8)

It's a good album, but i like the live versions a lot better.
