Does anyone else not like My Best cuz it sounds too kiddish?

How do you make that connection?  The only similarity that I hear is the weird keyboard in both of the songs.

I don't like the way the piano sounds in the song - I think it really contributes to the immature vibe of the song. I didn't like it at all at first. It's ok now, but I think it's definitely one of the stronger tracks.

I don't like how near the end she sings the melody like "EHHH EHHH EHHH EHHH EHHH EHH EHHH" I don't know, it sounds like she's whining too much.

The song has a really simple melody and after listening to the album several more times, it is now my favourite song on it.

this song is beyond amazing. to be honest, it makes me cry its so beautiful. it may SOUND kiddish to some, but if you really listen to the lyrics, its a very mature song. shes saying even though the relationship is over, she will always know that she gave it her best. *shivers* vanessa never ceases to amaze me.

It kind of does sound a little nursery rhyme-ish , but I love it anyways. I think the music is what helps it. Especially when she sings "Like a promise kept" and you hear the violin do triplets (I think).
